oh. well, the meaning of understatement is
1. A disclosure or statement that is less than complete.
2. Restraint or lack of emphasis in expression, as for rhetorical effect.
3. Restraint in artistic expression.
but whatever. but yes, it is way cooler than any anime. it's awesome. it's beyond awesome. it's be-awesome XD.
and I can't see why anyone would ever hate it. it's such a great movie.
but unfortunately, my friend hates it D8

-giggles- I agree! (: I'm a big fan of manga (books), not anime, but I don't mind it. But I don't think it's ALL I could watch, I'd die D8 varietyplz! LOL its like music, someone asks me what I mostly like, a little of everything, cant just listen to one thing CX But Coraline has made me stray a bit from it. I kinda like varying my taste too! I actually don't really mind people not hearing of it. I just kinda pity them, they're missing out on GREAT stuff, as we all know! XD Instead, I give them an instant prescription to the closest Coraline resource for them to see! All my friends are also either anime/manga fans or Phantom of the Opera fans (: but none are really "freaks" just fans! But I'm made SURE that they've all at least HEARD if not actually watched the movie! Which I OWN NOW so I can make them all come over and watch!!!! YAY! -still in happy partying mode from 7/21  on the party thread- |

My friends only know what Coraline is because I love it so much(I dont even think they know what hair colour she has DX).I went to the cinema in May to watch it and I didn't tell anybody i had for a couple of days and when i said "Heyy I watched CORALINE!" they were all like "Who?" except one because she read the book.I find it annoying really..it's advirtised everywhere..but I do have to wait til october to get the dvd soo...
