How deep is it?
Well from what I know, a raindrop travels downwards at 17mi per second.
That little drip of mud, how heavy was it?
If it took that small smidge of mud 5 seconds to get to the bottom, and a rain drop would be (approximately) 6 seconds, The well is 102 feet deep.
That's damn deep.
What are YOUR observations?

It's so deep that if you fell to the bottom and looked up, you'd see a sky full of stars in the middle of the day.
I'm sorry I had to I love that line!
Anyway that's a pretty smart estimate, very well calculated and it makes sense! -applauds- C:

That's how obsessed I am with Coraline, LOL. Thanks. I have a well outside my house, it's sixty feet deep.
I'm about to make a new YouTube video, called "Well Fishing", that we did today CB<

Someone in my geometry class actually raised her hand and asked, "if you fell to the bottom of a well and looked up, could you see a sky full of stars in the middle of the day?" I nearly peed my pants in utter joy. Meanwhile my teacher was having a hard trying to find the point in that question. I had to keep myself from screaming, "WYBIE SAID THAT!"
