This is SO the wrong place to put this, lol. Anyway, has anyone played the Coraline video game yet? I rented the PS2 version yesterday and played it for a few hours. Man, some of those mini-games are HARD. Good thing you can buy a game pass if you have enough buttons.
I like the game. It's just like the movie, but it has a whole bunch of other stuff in it. Like the barn. I wish that had been in the movie. And hearing Mr. Bobinski call Wybie a "devil child" made it one of my favorite games.
I'm stuck, though. I'm supposed to climb through the barn and get onto the roof because SOMEHOW Mr. Bobinski lost the piece of paper with his lock combination on the ROOF. Yeah. But I can't figure out how to get up on the stupid crates... grr.
Anyway. Fun game. And I like the fact that with enough buttons you can buy different outfits, including Wybie's, which makes me laugh. I don't have enough buttons for it, though. D:

That crate thing took me FOREVER when I rented the game! And as soon as I got the combination, I forgot what it was and I couldn't help Mr. Bobinsky at all.
What really bugged me about the game was the Beldam's voice. It was different, and sounded like someone was randomly plugging her nose. Coraline also runs very slowly.
Not my favorite game, but it's okay.
(I can never get any buttons, either!)

Oh yeah, I think I've played that game through six or seven times now! C:<
I think it strays alot from the movie plat, but it's still entertaining! ^^
It's not a perfect game, but it's definitely fun!

YES. I BEAT THE FREAKING CRATES. TAKE THAT.
And my little sister was in the room so I forced her to remember the combo for me ;D
I'm right at the end of the game now. I think my favorite part was that mini game where Wybie nearly runs Coraline over and you have to ride on the handle bars and steer without careening into anything. I kept yelling at the TV when my sister was watching. Wybie's all like, "Stop moving your body! Stop rocking the bike! Stay balanced!" I'm like, "I would, if you stopped yelling at me!"

Good! My little brother beat the game the very same freakin day he bought it! XD
he bought it JUST for us because he knows how obsessed I am! And he's my little brother! aw *Huggles*
Yeah, he said he HATED that part, but after 5 minutes, he found out how to... XD
Yeah, we're BIG gamers!
I like how the beginning is the same as the movie.
Other Mother's voice IS different. Do NOT LIKE D8<
We got all the outfits! Wybie's being favorited by my little brother! So now we're replaying the game for the 4th time, in Wybie's clothing! <3
The thing that bothered him, he said, was that you can't get Coraline's Explorer Sailor Hat/Cap D:
I like it so much too! Ima make one for my doll for that SOLE REASON! XD

i think the video game was ok but i felt kinda cheated out of the thirty bucks ,there are only a few voices that were from the movie, graphics kinda sucked,and the missions were kind boring or too easy

I managed to find the game cheap at Gamestop, because waited until WAY after it was released to buy it! It has alot of glitchy moment, and the story is really weird (would have been better if it actually followed to movie more) and I would have like it to be more free range, there was only so far you could go! D: and the whole minigame thing bugged me, but overall it's an entertaining game to play when you're bored!  I thought the part where Wybie was shooting beets at her & the part where he runs her over were hilarious! >|D |

Yeah it had it's funny moments!  The thing that bugged me most was unlike the others, Wybie didn't have an inside of his mouth! < It was the same color as his skin! |

I thought it was funny how Wybie was in the video game more than he was in the movie, haha.
The copy of the game I rented is full of glitches. It skips everytime I'm getting instructions, which is obnoxious. Like, when I was supposed to get apples for Ms. Spink and Ms. Forcible, it totally cut out what I was supposed to do, so I ended up wandering around the Pink Palace for HOURS until I pressed the right button and my mission popped up on the top of the screen. Needless to say, I felt very dumb XD
I'm currently stuck because the Other Father keeps trying to run me over with that creepy lawn mower.

yeah, the video game was fun. I wish it didn't end right after she goes back home, though. I would like to play when she goes to the well and drops the key in there and stuff.

I agree, when me and my friend played it through we were expecting to get to play that part, then the credits started playing and we were like "Wait..What's it?! D:"

It's very Wii-afied on the PS2 and I wouldn't bother playing it if I wasn't such a huge Coraline fan.
