So I've watched the movie about twelve times since I got it on Tuesday (I have waaaay too much free time on my hands), and I picked up on some small details I hadn't noticed before.
For instance, in most of the shots where Coraline is wearing her hat, her barret is missing! It's there before she puts it on and after she takes it off, but while the hat is on her head the little dragonfly is totally absent. Did the animators just forget about it or did they leave it out on purpose because it was distracting?
Also, I noticed near the end of the movie, starting around the time Coraline dreams of the Ghost Children, she has patches on the knees of her pajamas that appear to be made from the starry sweater from the Other World! I thought she would have gotten rid of it completely, since the Other Mother made it and could possibly have some power over her if she kept it (like she did with the doll).
So were there any other little things you guys picked up on that you found odd or interesting? Share them here!

They forgot to digitally remove her face lines! C:
Stopmo Rulz? Could that possibly be short for "Stopmotion Rules"? C: It's on the back of the moving van in the start of the movie!

That Stopmotion Rulez thing is awesome! Hmm... I've noticed that every time Coraline is given something to eat, she just looks at it or takes a few bites. When she was having dinner in the Other World, she took about three bites of her food, and then the Other Mother took it away and replaced it with cake. Maybe that's why she's so skinny. XD It's probably hard for the stopmotion people to make the puppets eat, and I don't know if this counts as odd... LOL

The one thing I notice, and so does everyone, is when the Cat falls over spontaneously XD I wonder why he did that...

The third time she goes there when the whole table of food is laid out, I wonder if she devours the entire meal, since the camera cuts away from that scene. And then she comes out of the house and lets out this enormous belch! XD
And to The Cat, when he falls over it's because Wybie was petting him and then pulled away, the cat had been leaning against his hand to get pet and when Wybie pulled away the cat had nothing to lean on! I love that scene >|D

D8 In the other world, do you see the scene where she goes into the house and has all this food waiting for her? Then she let's out a biiig belch when she leaves? I BET YOU SHE ATE IT ALL! D8 THAT PIZZA, ALL THOSE THREE HOT DOGS, THAT WHOLE RACK OF CUPCAKES! THOSE COOKIES, THAT CHIP'S AND SALSA, THOSE SAMMICHES...THEN DRANK ALL THAT LEMONADE! D8

I wonder if the animator's made themselves hungry making all that little food. D:

*ahem* On a slightly different note...
Remember the deleted scene "Coraline and the Buggy Roses"? She makes a swirly drawing of swirls in it. And though the scene was deleted, you can still see the drawing in the finished film. It's stuck to the fridge with a butterfly magnet, you can see it when Coraline and mom come home from shopping. (There must be a screencap of that somewhere ...)

I can try and find a screencap, also, remember in the Buggy Roses scene you mentioned it cuts to her in her room and the swirly clouds are outside the window? When she runs through the halls you can see that the spiral clouds are still there! ^^
